Stocking begins annually during November and ends the middle of March (date is subject to change as water temperature determines stock date.) Fishing is only allowed at Turner Falls Park during the winter season until park rangers deem water conditions unsuitable for fishing.
An Oklahoma fishing license is NOT required to fish at Turner Falls Park. Only barbless hooks are allowed for trout fishing.
WINTER FISHING PERMIT + ADMISSION: $25.00
Park admission is included, and anglers can keep up to 3 fish daily.
WINTER TROUT FISHING RATES
The Turner Falls Park 2025-56 Trout Fishing Season Opens on November 15th, 2025.
LOCATIONS:
Trout are stocked in the Bluehole pool, west side of the first low water crossing (Midway), Falls Pool, Tucker Loop creek, Sycamore creek area (New area), and the Butterly pool.
POLICY:
Bluehole pool and Butterly pool are the only 2 locations where a person is permitted to keep trout up to the daily limit, all other areas are strictly catch and release. We will open all areas to allow keeping in mid-March.
EXCEPTION:
The Trout Unlimited kids event on the 15 will be held at the Falls pool. Only kids will be allowed to fish in the pool that day and they will be allowed to keep up to 3 trout if they desire.
• Permits can be purchased online or at gate. Online purchasers will receive a permit at the gate.
• Permits are good from sunup to sundown the day of purchase.
• 3 trout may be harvested per permit, per day.
• Only “barbless” hooks may be used.
RULES:
Personnel fishing must keep their permit on their person at all times while fishing.
Permit holders must present, upon request, their permit to any Davis Police Officer or Turner Falls Park employee.
Permit holders may not “Cull” or trade out fish on a stringer or bag for a larger fish.

Only one (1) permit will be issued per person, per day.
Children 7 years of age and younger are exempt from needing a permit to fish, all accompanying adults must possess a permit.
No pets, glass bottles, or fireworks allowed.
